This month's Allure magazine features an image I created with my friend/wigmaler Issac Davidson.

We wanted to shoot something that would incorporate his wig work with a romantic and dreamy feeling. I feel like its a bit of a departure from what you typically see from a "wig" shoot.

The slow shutter speed gave it that dreamy mysterious look and the dark lip was a

fantastic contrast to the slightly washed out skin and hair. Issac and I have shot together before

but this was by far my favorite shoot we've collaborated on.

On a recent trip to Cape Town (the morning of my flight back to NY) I had an opportunity to shoot some pictures of Tanika Hoffman, a professional surfer who resides in Cape Town. Tanika is a very talented surfer on top of being just an exceptionally sweet person. We had a great time shooting as the sun came up at the beach which has a gorgeous view of Table Mountain. Great way to end a trip and take the edge off a 17 hour flight. Thanks Tanika!
